The Creative Force Behind Queenstown's Retro Photo Booth Fun!

As well as The Photo Booth owner, I’m a professional wedding photographer - Carla Mitchell Photography - in Queenstown. I started the photo booth business because I saw the need for high quality (and good looking) photo booths that produce photos at a professional standard. It was so important ‘The Retro Booth’ had studio lighting, professional SLR camera, photography trained attendees and on top of all that, every photo from the event is hand edited by Carla to make it ‘pop’ before uploaded to the online gallery.

Of course my husband and I had The Retro Booth at our own wedding and the photos that were taken are hilarious and my favourite of all the guests!

A photographer at an event is important to capture the raw, unscripted emotions that unfold, but a photo booth provides entertainment for the guests to unleash their creativity and captures spontaneous, silly and heartwarming moments.
